THE FOUNDING STORY

Paula Schwarz experienced the struggles of traditional support-systems during her stations with Google in China, the German Foreign Office in Africa and in light of the European refugee crisis on her home island of Samos in Greece. She started building social startups at different frontlines of humanitarian crises that have grown into sustainable solutions because she used an algorithm to match more helpers near or far away to projects they want to support.
